Do you ever feel stuck? Not knowing what to do when you hit a roadblock. Are you spending most of your valuable time in a negative space or a positive one? If you stay just a bit more positive, just by doing that you are on the right track to changing your mindset.

Yes this is like that old saying “Is the glass half empty or full. Let me give you an example. I was visiting one time with a wonderful friend of mine who is always seeking to better himself in all areas of his life. (I recommend surrounding yourself with people like this) We were talking about a work situation and to make a point he pulls out the old glass of water and asked, so what do you see? Of course I said the glass if half full. He says Nope! The glass is totally full. In fact it is over flowing. Hmm I said, explain. He said there’s not just water in that glass but air. Things are sometimes not always what you think they are, unless you’re choosing to just look at it that way.

By applying new ways of thinking when it comes to your Network Marketing business. You may see things a little differently. For example don’t label yourself meaning something like “I’m not good at talking when it comes to communicating my product or services to others” or “I’m not a good writer”. Instead say to yourself something like “I am going to talk about _______ (you fill in the blank) with kindness”. Say “I am a good at writing” then just start writing the way you talk to others, just be yourself. In time it will become easier.

When you start to look at how you see things in a more positive way, even if it is just a little. Then over time, these situations that perhaps used to frustrate or concern you will not be so daunting and you will be better prepare to handle it.

Patients and practice- Just start surrounding yourself with people that are striving for the same or similar things.  Seek out people that are helpful, kind and enjoy life. Let it rub off on you. Seems like everyone that has a company or someone that is starting an Internet business is trying to tap into Social Media with their product or service. They may have an up hill battle, by spending all their time marketing  instead of just running there online business.

Now with information overload on how to get customers. They end up spending most of their time and money trying to market their online business, which can take away valuable time and resources to developing a true strategy that is more productive to their Internet business. Like the saying go’s, “Time is money” or “work smarter not harder”.

Being productive can mean leveraging your time and hard earn money on results by knowing how to use social media as a platform to share not sell your online business. There are effective ways that don’t take all your time to archive this. One is by building relationships and trust through social channels. In this manner you’re sharing and creating relationships with social marketing. There is a right and wrong way of doing this. If you’re just standing on your soap box shouting about your product this tends to be a turn off.  However if you’re providing value to others, people tend to start pay attention to what you have to say.

The question is then what works when it comes to online marketing?

Well that depends on who you talk too. There are many that use Adwords, others with social media and paid advertising. SEO companies for a large fee will implement many of these. Some use banner advertising and business forums. I may be leaving out some but that’s about it. Seeing that there are only so many ways to market online you’ll want maximum impact that benefits not only your business but your customers.

There is a way to market online with Social Media  that doesn’t involve hours of twittering and facebooking, that can get your content and information out to social networks, so that is seen throughout the different channels. Remember though, that social media marketing and social media networking is two very different things. Networking will happen if Social Media Marketing is done correctly. What I mean by this is don’t use Twitter to find prospects. You will want to use tools to network with your prospects. This way they are seeking you out not the other way around.

Now you can always pay a SEO company to get traffic to your site and get a higher ranking in Google and Yahoo or use social media marketing to have prospects find you and push your search ranking up at the same time, which is a win win for you because you are not only getting the benefit of high search rankings, you are also creating a network of people that want to do business with you and share your business with others within the social media communities.

For years if a prospect said “no thank you” to my MLM Opportunity. I would thank them for there time and just part ways. That was then. Now I know, that what I was doing, was throwing away money. I was missing the chance to monetize them with perhaps something else because I was only focused on getting people to join my one opportunity. Not helping them perhaps, solve a problem or provide other services. This was very limiting. I needed to have more value and services to offer to that other 95%

What I mean is I was tied to one company one product one way of marketing. Yes I had a great presentation a wonderful product and tools that were provided by my company to market with, but having the tools to market with and knowing how to market are two completely different things.

I know that people have many different wants and needs. Some may already have an online business or maybe their looking for a better or new one, while others may just be looking to find ways on being more productive. Sometimes they’re just all over the place trying to use social media to network their  business opportunity one week them the next maybe they’re trying to build a blog and figure out how to get traffic to it. Did I mention all the while trying to figure out who to trust on the Internet when they came across another latest and greatest marketing tool or training course, which was screaming at them “Get in before it’s too late”.

What I now know for sure is that if I’m not providing extra services to people like a “how to” use social media to market correctly or education on “how to generating more leads”. Then I am just throwing money away, because that 95% will find something somewhere to spend their hard earned money on. 

Let me share with you why you need to provide more then just one product and or service

Most all MLM Representative’s struggle with promoting, because it is very hard to market your Network Marketing Company’s products or business opportunity. This is because they make you buy into this idea of my so and so product is the better then the rest or we have the best commission plan out there. This in fact can be true but it won’t amount to anything if your marketing efforts fall short. 

 A better approach is to set up a system that serves two purposes. First, it should create and filter through prospects. This way you can spend more time speaking to people that are interested in what you have to share and offer. Next, it needs to include  product(s) and service(s) that creates up front cash that keeps you in business and pre-sells your prospect on your business opportunity all at the same time.

If you just start to weed through all the internet and marketing get rich quick noise and do a little research you will begin to see they’re easier and more productive ways.

Let me give you an example.

Just do an Google (search) on Attraction Marketing or Marketing Coach (mentor) then bookmark 10 sites you like and read each one of them. Compare them and see if there is something in common with each of them. Are they talking about helping others first? Do they offer Free lessons, Video’s or education. These are big clues.

I also talk about training and courses that help network marketer become successful. It’s no hard at all to do once you begin to understand the power of Attraction Marketing. Remember that 95% are looking; you just need to find out and provide them what it is that they’re looking for. Network Marketing is changing and the old ways are becoming much harder to follow.
